As the temperatures warm up we happily anticipate warmer temperatures and Spring. For our vehicles there are a few things that can use attention at this point.
Road treatments in our area are necessary and appreciated as we drive through snow and ice. But these treatments take a toll on our vehicles. Salt is corrosive and even with an under carriage treatment it’s wise to ensure the bottom of your car or truck is free of damage and if any corrosion is present it is repaired. Inspect your vehicle for rust and body damage, top and bottom, from winter wear and tear.
Winter weather also takes a toll on wiper blades. Snow and ice can destroy the wiper itself. Now is a good time to check and, if necessary, replace wiper blades before spring rains start.

If you use winter tires now is time to schedule your appointment to swap them out. And if you use all season tires it’s definitely wise to check the tread and see the impact snow, ice, and rough roads had on them. Additionally check tire pressure to ensure it is set for warming weather.
Like tires, suspension and alignment take a beating with snow, ice, and frost heaves. While your tires are being or swapped or checked, have these checked as well.
Batteries take a beating in the winter and should be checked. This can be done any time of the year but it is strongly advised to do it at some point once a year.
And, since we aren’t enjoying the open air as much during the winter, now is a great time to check and replace cabin air filters. Debris adds up over the winter months.
And of course along with an oil change, make sure all the vehicles fluids are right for the season and topped off.
